Swap with Jan from Philippines!

One swap card arrived today, my first card from Philippines! It was sent by Jan from Palawan, Puerto Princesa. This card took a long time to reach here, considering the short distance. It was sent on 5th December, so it took about 50 days!

Front View
Back View
The card shows Puerto Princesa Subterranean River. Jan's handwriting is very tidy, I like it a lot!
Unfortunately the card arrived wet and damaged, maybe due to the rain and flood these past few days... That's why I uploaded the front view of the card from Jan's blog...

Anyway thanks a lot Jan! :)

Swap with Hejun Li from China!

Two cards arrived today from a swap with Hejun Li, a postcrosser from China (username: San_Aolia). We decided to swap 3 cards, and the first two have arrived today, so let's wait for the third one.. I wonder why the postal service is kinda slow these days...

Swap with Anita from Macedonia!

Only 2 cards came for the whole week! Whew! I wonder what happened with the postal service nowadays.. Maybe because it's raining almost everyday? Anyway, the two postcards came from Anita in Macedonia, through a UNESCO Swap in Postcrossing forum. These cards indeed took a long time to reach here. More than a month!

Speaking of Macedonia, have you ever heard about the country before? To tell the truth, I only knew that after I joined Postcrossing. So I'm actually very happy when Anita messaged me in Postcrossing Forum, offering a swap from Macedonia. So finally I got cards from one of the 'rare' countries, Macedonia!

The cards shows Ohrid Region, the only UNESCO Site from Macedonia. They show the aerial city view and one of the churches there, the St. Jovan Bogoslov Church. I noticed that Macedonian stamps are indeed very very simple with no pictures, only the value and the country name...

Anyway, thank you very much Anita and Happy New Year all!
